MagTek’s Qwantum Service is Now Integrated with CryptoPay, Offering Digital One-Time Use Crypto Codes for Car Wash Operators

CryptoPay is a popular payment solution for self-serve car washes that offers disposable cards that operators can provide for specific uses or promotions. Crypto Codes enable operators to now offer these promotions directly to the customer’s phone.
Crypto Codes will enable operators to remotely issue QR Codes to customers’ mobile phones to bring the same excellence in customer service as a one-time use card but with better efficiency. Since the operator can send the Crypto Code digitally, and since there is nothing to order, ship, or store, the cost of provisioning the promotion is much less.

Operators often use one-time-use cards to reward loyal customers with a free wash or compensate customers when a bay malfunctions. Crypto Codes lets operators provide this service faster by sending a code directly to a customer’s smartphone. The customer presents the Crypto Code to the CryptoTap Plus card reader (MagTek DynaProx) which scans the code using its built-in barcode scanner. This MagTek DynaProx reader features a high-quality camera, with durable and reliable construction, and compliance with IK08 and IP66 standards, making digital tokens an efficient and less costly solution.
