MPPG Services
Magensa Payment Protection Gateway (MPPG) is a payment gateway cloud service supporting traditional Sale, Auth, Capture, Void, and Refund transactions to integrated processor endpoints.
ISOs, VARS, Resellers, and Integrators Appreciate the Ease of Secure Data Management
MPPG is recommended for ISVs, ISOs, VARS, resellers, and integrators that supply a payment processing solution that works with encrypted and decrypted data in a secure setting to merchants who require traditional Sale, Auth, Capture, Void, and Refund transactions. MagTek POS peripherals are ready for your payment application.
Built for Resellers and Integrators
- Resellers and integrators have the control to board their merchants into the MPPG portal for use of the service.
- By coupling gateway and tokenization services with reliable hardware the vendor onboarding process is simplified.
Ready for ISVs and Developers
- Your payment application with our services and hardware means getting to market faster. MPPG Unigate provides ISVs and developers with a PCI-DSS certified environment for securely processing payment transactions. This payment facilitation allows independent software vendors to get more products to market faster.
We Know the Payment Industry
MPPG secures transactions for a wide variety of vertical markets including retailer, healthcare, restaurant, hospitality, government, education, and transportation industries.
Omnichannel Transactions are Securely Routed
Omnichannel payment acceptance is going to be the new norm. By making highly versatile and fully flexible digital payment solutions, we are ready for future payment trends. Unigate is Magensa's API for omni-commerce financial transaction processing, supporting both card-present and card-not-present payments via MPPG V5 or later.
Accept all Major Payment Types
Whether you need to accept Magstripe, EMV Contact, EMV Contactless, NFC Contactless Mobile wallets including Google™ Pay and Apple Pay®, we have you covered. We also allow payments via QR Codes, Barcodes and Links through invoicing and subscriptions, cards on file, in-app payments, touch-free payments, unattended payments, manual entry, and Apple VAS for faster transactions.
Manual Entry Makes Payment Acceptance Easier
Extend your payment reach, with one vendor, by including manual entry. Magensa has done the hard work for you and has online payment pages ready for your branding. Magensa payment pages are hosted through Magensa TokenExchange Connect Services, so cardholder and sensitive data never enter the merchant’s website or environment.
Hosted Payment Pages and iFrames
Our hosted payment pages, client-side JavaScript (iFrame), and APIs for customization, make payment acceptance easier across in-person (card present), online and in-app (card not present, eCommerce) channels. And you can still accept payments from Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal/Venmo.
Touch-Free, Low-Friction, and Invoicing Payment Requests
Convenience and safety are the drivers behind our touch-free commerce platform. Display or print QR codes to launch a secure hosted payment page for touch-free pay-at-the-table or curbside transactions or send a link by email or text for invoice or payment requests.
Cross Merchant Tokens, Contactless In-Person Acceptance, In-app Payments
Support payment-credential-on-file for consumer profiles across multiple merchants. Connect with MagTek Dyna readers that exclusively, or in combination with other capabilities, support NFC (contactless) cards or mobile wallets on a stand, lanyard, built into a phone or tablet case, or at an unattended solution. And accept mobile wallet in-app payments, including Apple Pay and Google Pay support for frictionless payments.
Self-Service and Unattended Payments
- Accept mobile wallet and card-present payments at unattended or semi-attended kiosks using Magensa Cloud Services.
L3 Certified Processors
- One integration with Magensa
- provides tremendous flexibility to ISVs, VARs, ISOs, and system integrators in terms of product solutions and processor options. Our L3 certifications include Quick Chip technology, which improves transaction speed and reduces complexity. Certified with major US processors including FIS (WorldPay), Fiserv (FirstData), TSYS, Heartland, NAB (EPX), Elavon, and Chase., across retail, restaurant, hospitality, healthcare, e-commerce, and fuel industries.
Secure Hardware for Secure Payment Acceptance
Card reading is accomplished with MagneSafe-enabled or Qwantum-enabled secure card reader authenticators, PIN PEDs, and terminals. Neither the merchant nor the application provider has access to the decryption keys used by the SCRAs to encrypt the cardholder data.
Free and Accessible APIs
- Our APIs and SDKs are posted for free on the support page. This means you have around the clock access to the information you need to code, test, and implement your deliverables.
Security is our Top Priority
Magensa Payment Protection Gateway (MPPG) is built on the MagneSafe Security Architecture, uses Magensa L3 certified hardware, and secures with TDEA or AES encryption with DUKPT key management. Access to the Merchant Portal uses Qwantum Multi-Factor Authentication, ensuring the highest level of security.
Easy, Low-Cost, Billing Structure
- Our billing is generally structured as a fixed fee based on readers, resulting in a lower cost, and is easier to manage than most of the competition. Our partners appreciate the MagTek/Magensa Gateway value equation.
Certification of Select PAX Payment Terminals on the Magensa Payment Protection Gateway (MPPG)
The inclusion of PAX terminals in Magensa's ecosystem underscores the commitment to delivering state-of-the-art payment technologies, value-added applications, and services, and the latest in payment security.

Through this collaboration, merchants and customers onboarding onto MPPG have access to MagTek's complete line of secure card reader authenticators and select PAX user-friendly Android terminals.
