Network and Systems Admin - Seal Beach, CA

The Network and Systems Admin will be responsible for maintenance of the company's LAN/WAN environment and related servers. This will include the daily upkeep, patching, monitoring, troubleshooting, and administration of the company's network infrastructure and related on-premise and cloud servers.

$60,000.00 - $110,000.00/yr. Full-time Position at our Seal Beach, CA Location


RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Implement network infrastructure changes on routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Provide general IT support for system and application requests
  • Install, configure, test and maintain servers, SAN, and related networking equipment
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting network and system issues
  • Perform data backups according to established policies and procedures
  • Configure and maintain Microsoft Active Directory, Office365, Oracle EBS
  • Install, configure, and maintain IPS/IDS, Anti-Virus, Anti-Malware, Anti-Spam, etc. for maximum internal network protection
  • Create scripts for automation of common tasks

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1+ years experience installing, administering, and supporting routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, and/or Barracuda)
  • 1+ years experience with TCP/IP, DHCP, LAN/WAN, VPN, BGP, wireless APs
  • 1+ years experience installing and managing servers (Windows 2016+, VMware, Linux)
  • Experience working with local and remote data center environments
  • Experience implementing and troubleshooting TLS, SSH, RDP, DNS, NTP, HTTP, SMTP, LDAP, Microsoft AD, et. al.
  • Experience managing IDS/IPS and EPP solutions
  • Microsoft Azure and Office365 experience desired
  • Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills
  • Completion of one or recent relevant certification courses
  • Ability to work after hours and weekends when needed
  • General office setting
  • Be able to lift up to 50lbs
