This comprehensive demo supports a number of MagTek products. This demo includes operating examples for various MICR models, the MT-85 (LoCo) and MT-95 (HiCo) encoders, and the Port Powered RS-232 and USB family of swipe and insert readers as well as the MT-211232. Any RS-232 or USB port can be used.

MICR readers can be configured using the MICRbase program while the MICRImage program shows the features of the MICR scanning products.

This demo program communicates with the RS232 MICRImage Check Reader and it can be used to display MICR data, card data, and check images. Additionally, this demo program highlights important functions and options available in MICRImage.

If your reader application uses the POS for .NET 1.12 (UPOS) this service object will provide the ability to address our MiniMICR and MICRImage document scanners, and our Dynamag, SureSwipe, and non-SCRA USB swipe readers running in HID mode that have a PID 002 or PID 011.

The MagTek USB driver is necessary to use the APTM USB, CAPS4 USB, IntelliPIN USB, Mini MICR USB, or MICRImage USB models with a Windows Operating System. These devices can be installed on the same PC if required. After you unzip the files to a folder on your hard disk, attach the device to the PC. In order to install them on 32-bit system, select the USB-32 folder; to install them on a 64-bit system, select the USB-64 folder.

The MICR Plus/IntelliPIN OCX combines the features of both devices into a common OCX so that the MICR Plus and the IntelliPIN can be operated via a single serial port (with the IntelliPIN attached to the MICR Plus aux port).

The MICRImage OCX makes both MICR and magnetic data properties accessible to any application program.

This demo incorporates the MICR Plus/IntelliPIN OCX to show how easy it is to communicate with the MagTek MICR Plus with an attached IntelliPIN. This demo can be used to acquire data via IE web browser.
