This Software Development Kit (SDK) contains the necessary tools to develop applications using MagTek USB HID Readers (Non Keyboard). The package is a Windows API/DLL which provides a demo application, sample code and documentation for the programming environment.

This program demonstrates card reading for the USB HID and keyboard emulation readers. It also allows a user to send commands that change the device's configuration for both the USB HID and keyboard emulation units. These commands can either be entered manually or downloaded from a MagTek supplied, or user-created, text file. This package also includes the demo application's source code to assist developers.

This JPOS driver is intended for use with our RS232 Swipe readers.

The OPOS driver for HID Swipe Readers may be used with our Dynamag, SureSwipe, DynaPAD, and non-SCRA USB swipe readers running in HID mode. This package will install the driver, documentation and test application. This driver does not support USB readers set to keyboard emulation mode. This driver supports our HID swipe readers with PID 002 or PID 011.

If your reader application uses the POS for .NET 1.12 (UPOS) this service object will provide the ability to address our MiniMICR and MICRImage document scanners, and our Dynamag, SureSwipe, and non-SCRA USB swipe readers running in HID mode that have a PID 002 or PID 011.
