About the Role – Senior iOS Mobile Software Developer, Payments
As a Senior iOS Mobile Payment Software Developer, you will play a vital role in developing innovative payment and non-payment solutions for our customers and partners. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the architecture, development, and documentation of iOS SDKs, mobile apps, and internal tools for iPhone, iPad, and macOS platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform business and engineering requirements into actionable technical strategies and development plans.
  • Contribute both independently and collaboratively to ensure the delivery and success of high-impact solutions.

$80,000.00 - $160,000.00/yr. Full-time Position at our Seal Beach, CA Location or Dallas, TX


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Design, develop, code, test, and debug native SDKs and apps, as well as mobile cloud applications for smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices.
  • Develop and maintain MPOC (Mobile Payments on Commercial off-the-Shelf) APIs and applications, ensuring seamless integration with the Magensa gateway.
  • Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business analysts to understand requirements, resolve issues, and implement new solutions.
  • Work closely with security and compliance teams to ensure PCI-DSS and MPOC compliance.
  • Write readable, testable, scalable, and maintainable source code while following industry best practices.
  • Perform security testing, maintain application operational status, and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Swift, SwiftUI, Objective-C, and C++, with at least five years of professional experience.
  • At least five years of professional experience developing on iOS.
  • Three or more years of experience in the commercial development of iOS mobile payment APIs and applications.
  • Experience working with Apple's Tap to Pay on iPhone SDK to enable contactless payments.
  • Understanding of mobile application design and UX principles.
  • Experience with concurrency and multithreading in iOS development.
  • Proficiency in design patterns (GoF) and application architecture.
  • Knowledge of distributed version control systems such as Git or TFS.
  • Strong product intuition and experience working on consumer-focused applications.
  • Excellent team communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience consuming RESTful and SOAP APIs (Service-Oriented Architecture).
  • Ability to diagnose and fix bugs and crashes efficiently.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design (OO design).
  • Understanding of iOS and Cocoa design patterns, including MVVM or MVP.
  • Experience writing unit tests and testable code.
  • Experience working with Bluetooth LE, WebSockets, MQTT, and Lightning iAP2 Protocol.
