MCP Developers Kit (non-Windows)
The intent of this kit is to assist application and protocol developers to develop their MCP application and protocol software. Developers that are writing applications for Windows are encouraged to use the MCP Driver Installation Package instead of this kit. The MCP driver implements the MCP protocol so that application developers are not burdened with this development. Developers that are writing applications for non-Windows platforms or Windows developers that prefer not to use the MCP driver are encouraged to use the kit. This kit contains source code that can be used to implement the MCP protocol. The protocol source code is written in C code and contains an API. An example application is provided, written in Visual C++ for Windows, that can be used to demonstrate the MCP protocol. This application also demonstrates magnetic stripe card reading. For more detailed information see the readme.txt file included in the kit.
