With this extensive knowledge in the security aspects of the industry, MagTek has developed a modern key injection facility to further enhance our ability to deliver quality products to our customers. Our recently upgraded key injection facility offers our customers a convenient and secure method of injecting keys into a variety of products—including PINpads and encrypting readers. Our key injection facility and the related procedures, which establish total security confidence, have successfully passed audits from our customers.
Whether your key management methods incorporate Master/Session or DUKPT, MagTek provides dual control security from reception of the key components all the way through the actual key injection process.
MagTek’s cost-effective key injection service provides the confidence that our PIN encrypting devices (e.g., IntelliPIN) and our recently introduced encrypting MagnePrint reader will be deployed with full security integrated prior to deployment. This service affords complete integrity from the beginning of the manufacturing process until the product is shipped to its final destination—there is no need to ship the units to a third party for key injection. Additionally, a detailed shipping report with itemized serial numbers can furnish a comprehensive audit trail for tracking each device.
