Main Standard Configurations Specifications

The TTL Insert Reader is a manually operated two-track push-in reader, which may have one or two read heads. A variety of configurations of heads and bezels are available. The reader can read the magnetic stripe in both the forward and reverse directions. The Reader conforms to ISO (International Standards Organization) and AAMVA (American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators) standards.

The TTL family of readers is suitable for applications where a microprocessor is available to extract the data from the magnetic stripe. The card present signal from the magnetic circuits in combination with the rear sensor indicate when a card is in the slot. Strobe and data signals from the read circuits are used to acquire the data from each track.
