Main Standard Configurations Specifications

The InSpec 9000 is a desktop card inspection system that quickly and accurately tests magstripe cards for magnetic encode quality per the ISO 7810/7811 standards. Parameters such as amplitude, jitter, start-sentinel position, and data content are analyzed. Test results are clearly displayed via graphical, text, and report formats.

Test results can be reviewed for a single card, or cumulative test data can be stored in a database that allows for SPC (Statistical Process Control) analysis of card quality based on parameters such as; date, time, card stock, encoder equipment, equipment operator, production shift, customer name, etc.

The InSpec 9000 is an ideal QA and engineering analysis tool for any organization that manufactures or purchases magstripe cards, and has a need to implement an SPC based QA program that monitors card-encode quality. Additionally, the InSpec 9000 is an indispensable analysis tool for terminal and kiosk equipment manufacturers who have a need to test the performance of single cards, so as to validate the performance of their own equipment, and/or to determine root-cause analysis for customer reported field problems.

The InSpec 9000 system comes complete with hardware and software that can quickly be installed and operated from any MS Windows PC.

Features
InSpec 9000-2005 magnetic stripe Encoding Analyzer software now operates on Windows XP, 2000, ME and 98
Easy to use graphical setup screens for non-technical production staff operators
Machine operators can use a "Go/No-Go" display for all three encoded tracks to quickly pass or fail cards while data is automatically stored in a selected database
New full color data analysis display screens include pass/fail condition indicators
More technical and detailed screens provide in depth analysis
Each point of data can be examined in detail by placing the cursor over the data point
Display can be shown in Metric or English dimensions
Start sentinel location with leading and trailing zeroes for all three tracks are displayed with "Go/No-Go" conditions
Expanded statistical functions include control charts and histograms with ISO or customer-selected limits on the display screen
Statistical parameters such as 3-sigma, mean, range, number of reject and percent reject displayed on all statistical screens
Database management with a customer selected keyword and statistical analysis is easy to maintain
Report generation includes data for magnetic encoding parameters for a given card, as well as, statistical analysis of the data accumulated over multiple cards from the database
Analysis of the encoded data has been expanded to include analysis of the magnetic stripe by the optional addition of an IntelliStripe 380 PC-based three track encoder
The InSpec 9000-2005 provides analysis of un-encoded cards against specific ISO or customer selected specifications
On-going support and analysis help by leading magstripe technicians
The InSpec 9000-2005 is a cost effective and easy to use quality tool for equipment manufacturers, encoding service bureaus, card manufacturers, test labs and magnetic tape suppliers to measure the basic magnetic characteristics of their magstripes and encoding quality against ISO or customer selected specifications
