The APTM is an attractive, compact, and easy-to-use PIN pad that allows for fast, secure, and convenient PIN selection/verification activities for card-issuance and teller-window ID activities at a branch financial institution. Its compact footprint allows the device to fit comfortably on almost any desktop or teller-window area. Its large backlit LCD display and ergonomically designed keypad ensure easy data entry and status interface with the user.
An advanced dual microprocessor security architecture and tamper detect enclosure provide multiple layers of protection that ensure both logical and physical security of PIN data, user data, and encryption keys. DES, 3DEA, DUKPT, and IdentiKey encryption standards are supported.
A reliable and convenient 2 track MSR adds additional functionality to the device, so that it can read Credit, ATM, or Drivers License cards to speed up ID verification activities at the teller window and/or to provide secure access to financial accounts.
A dual port RS-232 design allows easy connectivity to a Host system, and provides a gateway for auxiliary communications to devices such as a MICR check reader or receipt printer.
