Leading Payment Gateway Enables Fast and Secure Mobile Online Terminal Transactions with Portable MagneSafe Secure Reader

MagTek®, Inc., a global leader in secure electronic payment technology, today announced that eProcessing Network, an industry-leading payment gateway based in Houston, TX, has certified the MagTek MagneSafe m20 portable secure reader for use with its Online Terminal. The MagneSafe m20 joins MagTek’s MagneSafe BT-90 bluetooth reader as an eProcessing Network-supported secure card reading solution. Cardholder data captured by both devices is further secured using encryption, decryption and authentication services from Magensa™, LLC.

Ideal for payments where cable or wireless connections are not accessible, the MagneSafe m20 is a secure reader that offers faster mobile transactions by safely storing up to 70 transactions with a single reader. It leverages the card swipe to securely capture and save data, facilitating lower transaction fees by executing an electronic transaction with card present. With the MagneSafe m20, merchants can encrypt card data at the moment of swipe. The encrypted information can then later be retrieved by eProcessing Network’s Online Terminal to verify amounts and process transactions. With security features that exceed the requirements for card data protection and transaction security, the m20 offers the convenience demanded by today’s on-the-go merchants.
