Tatung Assures Merchant Transaction Security with MagneSafe™ from MagTek®

New All-in-One Point-of-Sale Terminal Speeds PCI DSS Compliance and Enables Efficient Card Authentication with Integrated MagneSafe Secure Card Reader

The new 15-inch all-in-one unit, will feature the MagneSafe secure reader for superior card data security as well as authentication for merchant gift card programs.

Ideally suited for the retail and hospitality industries, the Tatung Triview all-in-one terminal will feature an integrated MagneSafe Mini secure reader for secure cardholder data encryption and authentication for credit, debit and gift cards. With multiple serial and USB ports, the versatile solution offers a durable touchscreen LCD and an optional bundle featuring retail and hospitality software, merchant services and transactional software.

The MagneSafe Mini secure card reader has been specifically designed to meet PCI DSS requirements to secure cardholder data, and utilizes industry standard Triple DES encryption, and DUKPT key management, thereby eliminating the need to use a proprietary decryption system or product. The device features MagnePrint® technology that enables dynamic card authentication for magstripe cards including credit cards, debit cards, gift cards, ATM cards and ID cards.
