National Accounts Sales Representative - San Francisco, CA

Location - San Francisco, CA

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Ability to get appointments at the executive level with major, nationally known Retail/Restaurant/Lodging and Petroleum Prospects
  • Establish and maintain significant relationships with customers and prospects at all levels including senior management
  • Initiate sales relationships gaining a full understanding of customers' needs
  • Negotiate contracts, including pricing, payment terms, and performance requirements
  • Ensure continued customer satisfaction, build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers
  • Establish effective internal communications regarding customers, products and services in order to maximize sales effectiveness
  • Represent MagTek at trade shows and other industry specific events
  • Author and customize sales presentations to address the stated and assumed needs of the clients
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • College degree
  • Strong Sales background, with 5 years minimum experience
  • Direct National Accounts Sales experience
  • Knowledge of Point of Sale and the Payments Industry helpful but not required
  • Ability to deliver accurate forecasts
  • Effective contract negotiation skills
  • Ability to develop thorough knowledge of all MagTek products and services
  • Strong technical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and customer service skills
  • Self motivated

Working Conditions:

  • Extensive travel required
  • Must reside in Seal Beach, San Francisco, or Philadelphia area
  • Must be comfortable working in an office setting
  • Travel by car is necessary
